NIPT Test — Vanadis® NIPT
Non-invasive prenatal testing analysing fetal DNA in the mother’s blood to detect chromosomal abnormalities such as Down (T21), Edwards (T18), and Patau (T13) syndromes. iLab offers Vanadis® NIPT — the only Swedish-developed NIPT platform internationally, built on patented RCR technology. No DNA sequencing is performed: neither the fetus nor the mother’s DNA is decoded or stored. All analysis is performed in Sweden, on a European platform, ensuring full GDPR compliance. Vanadis® has a no-call rate of just 0.07% (7/10,000) — dramatically lower than older platforms (3–6%). Based on a published comparative study (Conotte et al, AJOG 2023), Vanadis® achieves sensitivity of 98.1% and specificity of 99.64%. iLab has an internal cohort of over 10,000 Swedish patients awaiting publication, confirming these performance levels. iLab operates under ISO 15189 standards and is in the final stages of accreditation.
